Gluten-free, dairy-free, refined sugar-free, date-free

This is a beautiful recipe for when you’re craving something sweet, especially before or during your period. Bonus -this makes the perfect dessert if you’re wining and dining with some health-conscious friends on the weekend. I have infused this slice with Ceremony Cacao and Organic Flaxseed Oil to deliver a rich, nutty taste, and an abundance of nutrients. These 2 key ingredients infuse this slice with a rich source of antioxidants, magnesium, and healthy fats for glowing skin, energy production, and balanced hormones. Watch my recipe reel here.

Ingredients

Base

1 1/2 cups almonds (lightly toasted)
3 heaped tbsp hemp seeds

1 tsp organic vanilla essence
1/4 cup of cold water
1 tsp organic ground cinnamon
a pinch of sea salt flakes

Filling
1 cup of hulled tahini

2 heaped tbsp coconut oil, melted
2 tbsp raw honey, or pure organic maple syrup
1 tsp organic vanilla essence

1/4 cup hot water
1 tsp sea salt flakes

Topping
3 heaped tbsp Ceremony Cacao (Classic Cacao)

2 heaped tbsp coconut oil

1/4 cup boiling water
a good pinch of sea salt flakes to garnish

Create

1. Place almonds and cashews into your blender, and blend. process until they become a. sandy-looking crumb. Add hemp seeds, vanilla, water, cinnamon, and salt, and blend again until a sticky “dough” forms.

2. Press the base mixture into a lined loaf turn, and pop it into the freezer while you make your dreamy caramel filling.

3. Add all of the filling ingredients to your blender, and blend until deliciously creamy, and well combined. Carefully pour the dreamy salted caramel filling onto your base, and pop it back into the freezer to set it, while you make your delicious chocolate topping.

4. Combine the topping ingredients in a medium mixing bowl with a metal spoon, until it turns into liquid gold. You may need to add a little extra hot water here if the mixture is too thick or add a little more cacao if it's too thin for your liking. Pour over salted caramel, sprinkle with sea salt, and return to the freezer for at least 30 minutes to set.

Slice, and devour with your loved ones.
